Is SWISS Wi-Fi free?

Today: free unlimited messaging in the FlyNet portal for Travel ID / Miles & More customers, full internet is paid on a tiered scale (roughly EUR 4 to 35 by flight length; SWISS Connect data packs CHF 9 / CHF 19; First gets a complimentary 50MB voucher). Once Starlink lands it is free in all classes for status and Travel ID customers.

Can you make video calls on SWISS Wi-Fi?

On the aircraft already converted, yes: latency there is roughly 20-50 ms, similar to home broadband. On the tails still running the older high-orbit system, no. Which one you get depends on the aircraft, so check the table above against the plane on your booking.
